Cello on the Parkway
Time & Location
About the event
Grab your hiking boots, a cozy sweater, a blanket or folding chair, and some hot cocoa, and head to the Buck Springs Gap overlook along the Blue Ridge Parkway for a delightful cello solo recital, featuring pieces by Bach, Summer, and O'Connor, amongst the gorgeous fall Western North Carolina leaves and the sunset.
When you park at the main overlook parking lot, look to your right and you will find a short, 500 ft. hike to the concert area. It is half paved but a little rooty, so be careful! Definitely wear some good shoes.
Seating will be in the grass at the overlook, facing the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains. Please bring your own blanket or chair to sit on if you'd like.
Lastly, please don't leave any trash or food in the area, as we want to keep our gorgeous nature clean and healthy.
This concert is FREE! I can't wait to see you there!
NOTE: Please note that this is an outdoor concert along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Check the FB event page for more details pertaining to the venue.
